About my coaching

“Coaching psychology is for enhancing well-being and performance in personal life and work domains underpinned by models of coaching grounded in established adult and child learning or psychological approaches” (Special Group of Coaching Psychologists, British Psychological Society)

I am a senior coaching psychologist and an experienced and impactful individual and team coach with thousands of hours of reflective practice with leaders and their teams. I have the highest level of training and experience with years of academic and in practice learning, and am accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) as a senior practitioner and have been awarded chartership - the highhest levels of psychologist membership = by the British Psychological Society (BPS) as a doctorate level Chartered Coaching Psychologist in 2022. I am trained and accredited to use a range of assessments, psychometrics, 360 feedback tools, and interventions to support my clients. I am also registered in supervision skills with the BPS.

1:1 Coaching

“The art of facilitating the performance, learning and development of another” (Downey, 2003)

The aim of my 1:1 coaching is to support you with any challenges at all that are stopping you from moving in the direction that you want to go in. Coaching by nature is highly flexible– so the scope of work and priorities may change and evolve through the partnership we will develop and even within a session. There are various ways we might work together, depending on what it is you want to bring to the coaching. Common focai include personal and team leadership development, wellbeing development, and improving performance in key professional and management development areas.

“Did the Coaching work? Heck yes. In a relatively few sessions a lot was achieved, and some substantial changes were made, including a highly compelling future vision.” - Ted Mattens, Senior finance professional

Team Coaching

“Team Coaching helps teams work together, with others and within their wider environment, to create lasting change by developing safe and trusting relationships, better ways of working and new thinking, so that they maximise their collective potential, purpose and performance goals.” (Widdowson & Barbour, 2019)

My evidence-based strategies and approach to team coaching:

  • Develop the team to be the most effective version of itself

  • Develop self and team members awareness and understanding

  • Develop wellbeing and resilience

  • Develop leadership capabilities and practice for impact within the team and beyond

  • Support the team to navigate change, transition and transformation over a six-week, six-month, one year or two year timeframe.

“Cornelia has been a revelation for our Senior Leadership Team. The eight strong team hold a variety of experience and strengths, which have been highlighted and built upon through Cornelia's tailored programme. We now have a greater understanding, renewed confidence and appreciation of one another as well as learning new management techniques to ensure we are all effective people managers. It is no stretch of the imagination to say we all now bounce into work, eager to tackle the issues we face as a united front, whereas previously we would operate in isolation. The future is extremely bright following the skills and mindset Cornelia has passed onto us all”
